Default Re: 23 SeaCraft CC in NJ

PeterB,
First off, welcome to the site. You'll find all the info you'd ever want to know about SC's here.

WA vs. CC ride - due to helm placement of the 2 boats and the additional weight carried forward in the WA, you will notice a difference in ride. With the CC, you are placed aft and in the center of the hull, pretty much the "sweet spot" when it comes to ride comfort. With the WA (and the same goes for the Sceptre cuddy model), you're forward and off to the side, so the ride seems a little more harsh.

Trim tabs - recommended for lateral leveling of the boat, but not necessary for planing purposes. However, if you carry heavy loads often, or you really want to punch through a head sea, tabs are a must.

SC vs other makes - well, this is a SeaCraft site after all.

Timeline and Tracker quality - I suggest doing some searching on this site and you'll come up with a general concensus of Tracker's quality, plus you'll find a very comprehensive timeline of who owned SC and when.
