Default to vro or not vro....that is the question....

I am installing a vx250 on my 23 seacraft and I am thinking about not putting the oil tank in and just going with the premix method. I am a commercial fisherman and my friends have always done away with the vro systems due to lack of lubrication during the life of the motors. Does anyone have an opinion on this? I always run my motors a little on the rich side to make sure things are well lubricated. I would hate to have a motor blow up on me because of oil issues. What do you think guys?
