Default Thanks to the SeaCraft factory!

I have had some problems with my dealer and things weren't getting done. The most recent problem was they forgot to register my engine for the extended warrant...actually they completely forgot to do the paperwork for my warranty. I specifically asked them if I should do it myself and they said no that they would cover it. I kept calling my dealer for a couple of weeks and leaving messages, but they would never call me back.

To make a long story short, it never got done. I got the phone number to the factory to see what could be done, and they transferred me to their new customer service department. Ron Addair in customer service said that he would take care of everything. About 2 hours later, my dealer called me and apologized for not returning my calls, it seems that they had this dealer had the same problem with a number of other customers.

Here it is one week later and I get a call from Ron at the factory and he says that he just got off the phone with Mercury and all my warranty paperwork is fixed and I will be getting a new registration card in the mail soon and then he asked if I had anything else that needed to be taken care of. WOW!!!! I am impressed. They got me taken care of without any problems, bickering, or complaining. They were very helpful.

I also found out that warranty work is being done now through the customer service department at the factory instead of the dealerships. They said that this is a big step in trying to get things turned around.

I hope you guys keep up the good work!!
Luis
