Default bennett M120's on 1978 20\" live well question

I'm installing Bennett M120's but the port hydraulic line will exit the transom into the live well. Tom AKA tabman has been very helpful with information and has offered to provide longer lines to allow me to mount the pump in the center console and has offered an external line connection actuator which would allow the port line to enter thru the transom above the live well, however this would entail running the line externally attached to the inter face of the transom across to the starboard stern compartment.

Is this the best solution or have others had success in running it into the live well and securing it to the aft livewell wall and exiting thru the center wall into the bilge?
my concerns in running it thru the live well are in sealing the hydraulic line hole in the transom and livewell side partitian and in protecting the portion of the line inside the live well.

I know others have been faced with this problem.
What works best?
