Default Finally a little speed..

Just put in the right transmission on our 23 straight inboard and did a quick sea trial this morning before work. I wasn't out long, but she getting around 24 knots at 3400 RPM. We have a pretty good current in our area and I didn't check to see how hard it was runnning, so I won't have exact cruise numbers until I get some more sea time. The biggest thing was that the boat was much quiter, had less vibration, and didn't seem to be working as hard. I'm sure the fuel economy will go way up as well.

Also added 2 inches to the rudder, so that she'll actually backup better and intalled a 15x17 prop.
