Default Quick fixes for the the 2005 season

I finished my 1969 20 CC back in 2003 but after 2 trips to Key West and numerous trips within the Northeast the transom developed some odd cracks underneath the engine.

Turns out the genius who redid the boat (me) did not put enough glass on the top of the transom where the engine sits. I also discovered the gazillion holes in the transom from its past life were rearing their ugly head all over the transom.

I removed the engine, beefed up the troubled section and put 2 layers of mat (I do not remember the weight) over the entire transom. So far after this tough summer all has held fine and no subsequent cracks/issues.
