Capt Chuck ,Stuart Jack Run

Capt Chuck have you ever fished the jack run, I have heard that they run really heavy till about mid April, 30#+ all over the beach. I was thinking of heading up and having a little light tackle fun. Any tips like where to launch out of or even some hot spots
