Default Re: Crated Motor

Troy - I ordered my Yamaha 250 crated. Had it shipped to the local Saia Terminal and picked it up. Saved money on the engine and no sales tax (bought out of state).

I mounted and rigged the engine myself and never had any warranty issues. The cowling was damaged in shipping and the Yamaha dealer I bought the motor from (after sending digital photos of the paint scratch) sent me a new cowling.

All and all it was a good deal.
