Default Re: 1970 19' bowrider progress.

Busy day on the LITTLE GIGOLOT today keith stopped by and helped me with the measuring and layout of the transom template. Rough sanded all the fresh fiberglass and put a thin layer of filler across the transom then sanded it down and put the first coat of INTERLUX on the transom. I knew before I painted it that the transom wasn't perfect but its hard to see whats wrong with no shine. It turned out better than I thought it would but still have a little bit of filling to get it near perfect. When its all said and done, the sides will be blue, the gunnels, bottom and the transom below the outter chine will be white. Thinking of a stripe where the colors change on the hull. But what color, Maybe black to blend the bracket better?

FILLER SANDED DOWN TO NEAR PAPER THIN

FIRST COAT OF PAINT WENT ON TRANSOM TODAY

BRACKET PUT ON FOR COLOR CONTRAST

I THINK THE BLACK BRACKET AND CHARCOAL MOTOR WILL BE A GOOD CONTRAST. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
