I put 5200 in the holes and a good amount on every bolt and "screwed" them in to get a good coat on the entired surface of the bolt/hole.I pretty much used an entired cault tube putting the baracket on. The bracket is rounded so I can still come back with black around the outside. Have a good amount of caulk that seeped inside the bracket and outside the bracket. I don't really think its possible I will get any water intrusion with the amount of 5200 I used, but if I do its a composite transom that will not be affected by water according to the manufacturer of the composite.
