I'm giving the 20 a break for the time being. Bad weather, Darkness and a lack of motivation are some of the reasons. But I've not been totally slacking. For a while now I've wanted to put a bait station and another set of rod holders on the transom cap of my 23. Today I finally got it done. Here are a few pics.













Here is a screw up I did a while back. I spent about 4 hours making a carbon fiber dash. I was careful to drill the holes thru the clear epoxy and backing but when I placed the screws to hold the gauges and instruments I got some cracks. The cracks did not show up until about a week later. I will be junking this dash and placing a wood dash sometime in the future. If I were to do it over again I would heat the drill bit and push it thru the clear epoxy then drill the rest of the way thru. I would also use bolts instead of the stock wood screws that came with the switches. The bolts would have to be black like the screws. Live and learn. I also installed the Navman so I will be posting some numbers soon with the Suzuki 250. It looks like my cruising speed is 28 knots burning 12GPH at around 4400 rpm. More indept numbers will follow.
