Thanks guys, I did put a lot more force on this last one that I put on the boat 2 days ago + I damaged the threads just a little approx ½ way up. I think a torque wrench makes sense. I have always been a little concerned about tighten these things in the past for a couple or reasons first this is soft metal not wanting to strip it. And after it starts to corrode getting it off again.
