opinions...2001 evinrude 150
Hey guys,
I just went and looked at a 2001 evinrude 150. The asking price is $4500. It is being sold from the dealer that origionally sold it. It has 350 hours, and the highest rpm's it has seen is 5120. The computers did not report anythign wrong with it, or any problems in the past. I was able to get the price down to $4100 and i put a small deposit on it. It also will come with a 30 day warranty. I'm not concerned with any powerhaed issues that the earlier fichts are known for. My dad has 2 2000 150's, so i know that these engines are good if you have a good one. My main question is, Is there anything else I should be concerned about? I believe that the price is good based upon other engines i've seen for sale, and I also checked nada guides. The engine will go on the back of my 20'. Does anybody have a similar set up? I'm thinkin she'll cruise at 32mph and top out at 45. Any feedback would be great. -Andrew |
