Polyester vs Epoxy resin

I am starting to redo my 23. The deck needs to be replaced. i have been doing alot of reading and it seems that most people believe that epoxy is better for the deck. I am looking for some insite i have worked with both before and i think they may both do the job but i am not an expert. I appreciate any help thanks
