Deck Glue Question????????????

I'm just about getting ready to put the new floor down, What do you guys recommend for the glue? I have been using hull and deck putty but it is pretty expensive 40.00 a gallon. If i use cabosil where can i get a decent amount for the project for a fair amount of money? And also should i use stainless screws as well through the stringers for strength.
