Default V-4 gears in a V- 6 Lower Unit

A wile back I posted about different gear ratios in V-6 OMC lower units. I replaced a lower unit with what I thought was the correct replacement. Over time i suspected it had a lower gearing than the original but come to find out It's a lower unit for certian V-4's, I think!! The gearing is 2.25 to 1 which is specs for some "big lower unit" V-4 models. The lower units appear to be the same except for the gear ratios. First, does anyone suspect I'll have any strength issues with the V-4 gears? My motor is a 150. Second , knowing my ratio for sure lets me calculate a prop slip of .06 at W.O.T. Is that where I should be? By the way, I found out my ratio by turning the prop once and noting the timing wheel movement of 2.25 times so I'm sure of the ratio. Any comments are appreciated.
