Greetings to all SeaCraft Owners!
My name is Bob Christiansen, and I would like to offer my services to this fine website in regards to offering new marine hardware at mostly unbeatable prices. I work for a major OEM boatbuilder and have access to thousands of new marine parts at OEM prices, thus I pass the savings onto you. Anything Teleflex, particularly Baystar/Seastar Hydraulic systems, engine harnesses/controls/gauges, deck hardware, pumps, hatches, you name it. I'm not saying I can get everything in the Marine world, but what I can't get, I can find someone who can. I can't get Yamaha, because someone who calls the shots at our company got pissed at Yamaha several years ago, and we quit them 4 years ago. Stupid decision, but, whatever.

If your wondering about my intentions, well, check me out with the members of Whaler Central and Continuous Wave, which, BTW, is how I found out about your site. I've been building boats at the OEM level for 15 years now, and have currently been a production engineer for the last 2 1/2 years. I absolutely love boats, you have to to work in this crazy business. But as some of you might know, today's economy has put a real hurt on the OEM level. Most builders, even the big boys, have been working 32 hour weeks for a couple of months. Sort of puts a damper on the paycheck, you know. So I supplement my income buy selling hardware at a great price to avid boaters that saves them a lot of money, makes me some money, and benefits everyone. I am fully versed in I-Command, Suzuki Digital, Smartcraft and DTS, and Honda. From those 4 engine builders, I can get you virtually anything but the motor. That would be a little conspicuous! I also love to help out where I can because of my experience building boats.MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) is my trade. Wellcraft, Hydra-Sports, Stamas Yacht, and now my current employer. But I could lay up a hull, if I had to. I hope I never do! But if I can help, I will. Advice is always free, and hopefully helpful.

SeaCraft has always been an awesome boat. Maybe now that's it's owned by Tracker, and god knows where it's built (North Carolina? Missouri?), it will never be the same as the Miami SeaCraft. Build it, launch it, and 30 minutes later you're seatrialing in the Gulfstream. Just like Mako's. I hope this post is not out of line with this website's policies. I'm just trying to give SeaCraft owners an opportunity to benefit in a total win/win situation. Like I said, post a thread on CW or Whaler Central and ask, "What's Seabob all about?". They'll tell you.
