Need a 175 HP Motor

The work on my 78 20' MA is progressing. Deck, paint etc should be done in a month or so. I need a motor. I have a 1980 150 Merc and would like to buy/trade for a later model 175 Merc (I can't afford a new one). I would like to keep in the $4-5K range max. Any thoughts on where to get a rebuilt motor? Trade in my 150? etc. THX!
