There might be two solonoids, there is also some relays,locate the solonoids, then take a voltage meter or 12v test light, find which side of the solonoid has power to it, this would be the larger of the wires and post on the solonoid,then have someone activate the trim, check for voltage on the other large post or wire, if you have good voltage chances are it's the motor, you can also bypass the solonoids and relays and check the motor directly, that is another story.
