Default Re: Deck Raising Methods

I haven't done it on my Tsunami yet....but I plan to cut out pieces of the existing floor so that a grid is left, coat it with a resin or epoxy, then put strips on it to raise it. I was thinking the ribbing would give a lot of rigidity. It'll be a lot of jigsaw time. I haven't decided on a floor material yet....but I'm leaning towards 1/2 inch ply and hoping the ribbing and glass layers would make it really stiff.
