hey bud new to site but not the i/o have had three engines six outdrives and am happy to report after 12,ooo hours and 11 years on my 23 custom cuddy i have the answer a 320 hp volvo penta dou- prop dph outdrive with 5.7 liter 320 horse volvo engine my boat cruises 26-28 knots at 13 gallons per hour and tops out at 39-40 knots well gotta run to a bbq but i will talkacha sum more stick with your i/o i will tell you later how that volvo saved my life in a heavy pitching sea it does not cavitate that thing gets traction well gotta run capt. jus10 out oh yeah charter report had 36 spanish mackeral and 2 bluefish today kids youngsters had a blast
