How hard it is depends on how it's mounted. snaps, lacing, track mount, etcetera. Take a close look at it. Can you take it off? If you can get it off, you can probably get it back on. If you don't think you can, get the pro. Many pro's will give you estimates for either scenario: you take it off and you install the new one, they just fix it, or they do it all. They can generally make a new one from the old as a template/pattern.

But if it's just a seam coming apart, and the fabric itself is intact, for a lot less money you can have all the seams re-sewn. You can actually buy the heavy-duty sewing needles for most sewing machines to sew canvas or similar heavy material. Just use waxed thread.

However, if it's actually the fabric tearing at the seam, replace it.
