Default Tips for throttle control cable replacement?

Lost the cable on the muffs in the driveway after a little fish yesterday. 1 Bonita. Real tight tight and choppy and was draggin Todds Lures, which we all need to buy more of for the cause.

`96 Rude 150 factory box.

Beginning the research now. Search comes up w/ 17 ft for older 20 sf, but will pull part # and call Slacker.

Whats a good lube for pullin? WD? Worked well for the ducer cable.
My thinking on adjustment is to leave as much room for stretching as possible.

Thoughts please.

Ziggy is commin down 4-12/4-17 and I must be ready!

Thanks gang,
GFS
