1973 20SF newbie questions

Hey guys, I've got some newbie questions that I hope yall can help me out with. I've never owned a Seacraft, but have always admired the loyalty and following they have gained over the years.

There is a 1973 20' that has caught my eye, and I'm considering picking it up for a project boat. Seems like it would be a great little boat for the lake, and fishing the backside of the lower Keys.

I'm assuming this a Potter hull? I'm trying to get my hands on the hull id. I should be able to tell from that right? I have looked at some of the restoration pics on here, and they are incredible. I would like to do as much of the work as I can myself over the fall/winter. I think me and my buddies can handle most of it, but I'm going to have to defer to someone else for the glass work. If I were to strip the hull myself, and have someone else finish the floor/sides what kind of ball park price would I be looking at. I know yall get this question all the time, but i have no idea how to get an idea.

Also, What all should I look for when I check the boat out. I already know there is a soft spot in the floor, and I'll bounce the motor up and down to see if I can get an idea of what the transom is doing. Any suggestions from you guys that check these things out all the time?
