If the hook is only on one side, that's a different story and it should be fixed. If it's consistent on both sides, maybe not. I know the Potter Seacrafts don't have a hook, but I wonder if some boat manufacturers don't intentionally put hook in their hulls to keep the bow down at higher speeds. My '83 20SF has some hook. It's not from a Potter mold. Seacraft Industries stretched the 20SF 8 inches from the Potter version. My 18 Action craft also has some hook. It's only in the last 12" of the bottom and looks intentional. My 17 Hewes project has some too.
