Filling small 1/4" holes.

Hey guys, I am going to be removing the original rod holders (4) and older Lee 30 degree rod holders (4) from my boat this weekend and replacing them with brand new Lee 30 degree holders. The idea is to utilize the same 2" hole in the gunwales for the rod holder tubes but the bolt patterns are a little different on the factory rod holders so I want to fill them with I'm guessing epoxy. When finished the new rod holders will cover the wholes so looks aren't that important. I'm running to West Marine at lunch and just wanted to see what you guys recomend.
