Default Aluminum I-Beam trailer for 22-25+' boat

This trailer was recently bought as a package with a boat. Upon having it delivered here to Michigan from Florida it became apparent that the trailer is just not right for the 23 Boston Whaler Walkaround (almost 28' LOA with bracket) that is sitting on it. The boat needs a trailer that has a higher weight rating and much longer to move the weight forward over the axles. The trailer is a 1993 slip on Aluminum I-Beam bunk trailer rated for 7500#. It sat unused in Florida in the driveway of the original owner's house as the Boat was mainly kept on a lift. Because of this trailer had been sitting for a while it was decided that before it was driven home to Michigan it would be smart to invest a variety of new parts to get it road ready. In the end however the hauler put it on a flat bed semi to bring it back to Michigan.

Here is the run down of updates to the trailer with in the last month:
2 new axles installed
4 All new hubs
4 sets of all new bearings
New brake actuator
New disc brakes on both axles (4 new rotors 4 new calipers and pads)
4 new tires rated at 7500#
Two new wheels on the port side
New fender on the port side
All the wiring sorted out and lights working

The bunks were replaced 2 years ago

Since it was flat bedded back to Michigan, all the new parts have maybe 100 miles on them and have never been dunked in the water. The trailer itself would be great for a 22' - 25'+ boat.

The trailer looks like any other aluminum trailer that has been used in and around salt water but, that is just cosmetic. mechanically the trailer is like new.

The trailer is located in the Detroit Area. If you are interested or want more information please feel free to contact me at 248.376.5662 or by email jrohlfing@gmail.com

Asking price is: $2250obo
