I bought this boat in Jacksonville in December and finished it up in mid May. The paint is a single stage DuPont Nason. I had a friend of mine who is a painter shoot it and it turned out great. This is my first SeaCraft and it is awesome. The guy I bought it from poured the transom solid with chopped glass and resin. There is some wood in it that I found when drilling holes for the motor and scuppers etc. It does sit a little low in the back at rest, but plugs in the scuppers keep the water out. The motor is an 89 200 yamaha, turning a 21 pitch aluminum prop. Top end was 52.5 Full of gas, 2 people and cooler. I didnt do anything with the inside, due to the fact that one day, it will need a deck and such. The console is the original one, still has the SeaCraft USCG plate on it. I did fair and repaint it. This is the perfect boat for me uo here in north Florida, it will go anywhere.I am 23 so even the young folks now a days are into classics. I have to thank my girlfriends dad who not only found this, but helped me out alot, had the motor laying around nad helped me get it running AND everyone here at CSC who answered my questions!. Still some odd and end things to do, but I can use it now. Sorry for the crappy pics, theyre all off my phone. I will get some with my camera some day.
