Reelescape, I just bought a 250 yamaha 30" shaft, I have a twin armstrong bracket. I am curious as to what you are seeing for performance and what prop you are using?
Solas 17p 4 blade prop runs low 40's about 1/2 fuel just me no rods, ice, etc. I propped it to be able to stay on plane at a lower speed (ocean). It will run mid-upper 40's with Yam 19p 3 blade.
