Default 20" transom water intrusion

FYI None - 20 Master Angler - 200 Merc ( 410lbs) - fished a Tournement that I would not have gone had I known it would be 15-20 on Sat. Very late forcast change from Thurs.

Just wanted to mention I did not get any water over then transom except 1 time as I tried to slow the drift a bit and backed down into it but not bad, none at all anchored. Had to keep the scuppers plugged as I also had a good load of fuel and the baitwell full.

I have 5" - 1/2"starboard splash guards on either side of the motor and really have stopped even using the transom door. These were put on by the prior owner but seem to avoid the expensive issue of raising a transom just for that. They seem to be cut into the top of the transom and then strengthened with a small alum trim brackets along the base.

Just thought I would mention it since its fresh in my mind and I don't normally go when its that snotty - even inshore LOL

I couldn't quite get to my best set of numbers, we went 16 mi and they were another 4/5, we did pretty good but didn't quite hit the board.
