Default Lowrance structurescan?

My brain melted one night when websurfing, and now I have a new Lowrance StructureScan HD. I hope someone here can tell me I didn't goof this. It looks like it gives up after 80 feet of depth, but until then it is pretty good?

Also I got a business idea- "unholy transoms". For all the guys with transom mount transducers. drill and tap 3/4" thick aluminum plates pre made for transducer brackets and a zinc mounting. Maybe throw in studs and nylock nuts. Bond it to the transom with 5200, and no holes in the transom for the transducer!
