Pair of Jacks, No I have not had any problem with the extra weight of the Yamaha 200. The scuppers drain fine and to me their is not a noticeable difference in the waterline. I had a 200 Merc EFI on their that I replaced and this engine is probably only 60 lbs more than it. Not enough to matter. So far I love the engine. It is a great fit although I wish I had a little more top end. It tops out at 42-43 mph. My most efficient cruising speed is around 25 mph at 3.8 mpg but realistically I am averaging 3.0 mpg in a day of running and fishing.
