Default " holy grail " boat finds

As a past time, I occasionally check assorted 23' Sceptre ad's while I currently own a very clean V21 boat.....

So, recently found a possible " holy grail " for sale...........that was SOLD by the time I found it 20 days later.

It was a 1979 23' Sceptre, from original florida owner, outboard, never bottom painted, kept on lift, with pictures that showed a truly beautiful hull and interior. Shined like new. Reported some professional updates done that also looked fantastic. Asking price was also realistic, not ridiculous.

So...... as some guys enjoy searching for " barn find muscle cars and such " these SeaCrafts can be similar.

Leaving the question..........wonder how many near original / still in pristine condition remain ?
