SEI lower units??

I take GFS out to fish at Sebastian and what happens the very next time I use the boat.....the lower unit takes a crap!!! Hummmmm.........I wonder if he put the old OMC white voodoo on my old clunker black motor?

Anyway, has anyone tried the SEI OEM products?? They are less than half the cost of rebuilding it and about $1,100 less than a new Mercury unit. I don't want to spend $250 to have it looked at and then given an estimate to rebuild when I can just buy the SEI product with a three year warranty at $850, bolt it up and be done.

Thoughts??

It's kinda like eating too much rice, my lower unit is locked up!
