NOW $3200 Sunday's Child - 1971 Seafari 20' I/O
SUNDAY’S CHILD - 1971 SeaCraft Seafari 20’. Mercruiser 140 hp 3.0L/181 c.i. sterndrive, with decent older single-axle galvanized trailer WITHOUT brakes.
Most of you remember how inexpensively I purchased this boat, ($10.40), and then drove R/T from Florida to Massachusetts to pick it up. The boat had been sitting on the hard for 12 years before I got it, but was well-loved and well-maintained by the previous owner prior to being put up. Here’s what I’ve done over the last year: • To the original M/R (pre-Alpha) outdrive: o new u-joint bellows, shift bellows and exhaust bellows, o new lower shift cable, o new shift shaft seal, o new gimbel bearing, o new water pump kit o new aluminum prop • To the motor: o New intake/exhaust manifold o New exhaust riser/elbow o New (not rebuilt) carburetor o Remanufactured distributor o New ignition wires o New head gasket o Remanufactured fuel pump • To the boat: o New fresh water tank o New 2.0 gpm fresh water pump o New Lowrance Elite 5 HDI Chartplotter/fishfinder o New kicker motor bracket o New aft transom-mount SS rod holders o New VHF antenna o Repaired SS bow rail o SS hand rails on motor box Here’s what else comes with it: Full Navy top with side isinglass windows and aft drop curtain, original helm seat with under-seat sink, VHF radio. I’ll let the Mercury kicker go with it for an extra $500, otherwise it’s going with the sailboat. My wife has decided that we don’t need two kayaks, two power boats, and a sailboat. We just need the kayaks and ONE powerboat. And since I’d rather fish inshore and coastal WITH my bride than fish offshore or anywhere without her, we’re keeping the boat she likes the best, which is the Chaparral dual console, admittedly a better inshore “Bay and Bayou” fishing boat than the Seafari. My time allows very little opportunity for getting on the water, and I just can't keep all these boats at the church Trailer in the photo is NOT the trailer upon which it sits, or with which it comes. I'll post some more photos soon Asking $4k Down to $3500 NOW $3200 Transaction ID: 13677573C3790312Y
