Started this project because I blew my carbed Yamaha. Decided to bracket the boat, transom was redone by previous owner and in great shape so I used 3/4" marine ply and 1708 patch the notch. I was unsure of the tanks age and cut a little soft spot up and that turned into a new floor and deck. Moved the 80 gallon poly tank forward about a 1 1/2 feet, I used a rough CG calculation to try and keep the ride and balance similar to pre bracket. I bracketed because I dive often and the swim platform was huge for me. Big thank you to Don Herman for the bracket and advice along with Joel Shine for materials and advice.
