Default Brace for newer heavy motors

I bought an 88 20 cc about 6 months ago. After reading on how heavy these newer 4 strokes are and these hulls were designed for lighter 2 strokes I felt I should add a brace to the transom to help spread the weight. I now love the boat more and feel more confidence with the extra weight and it being a 30 year old hull. I also moved the motor up one bolt hole and it runs a higher WOT and ever a little better fuel economy. Love this boat more with every modification.
