My 1965 Bertram 20 which was a Ray Hunt design also had them - may partially explain why it was impossible to bury the bow or have it trip on the forefoot in a following quarter. I remember reading the stories about Hunt's first V hulls - I thought those were all long gone. Really glad to hear that at least one is still out there. Kinda like a '51 prototype 'vette.
