Default OK - doin' a little networking here - I need a jahb

Well, after 6 & 1/2 years at my "last" company, I was laid off the other day. I got R.I.F.'d . They didn't even kiss me first, just *$%# me so now I'm looking for new work... Less than 16 hours of doing my bit to help stimulate the American Economy (new truck )

If any of you fine gentleman and gentleladies know of any IT work from Wareham, Mass to Westerly, RI - I'm lookin'. My last position was with a process/bio/pharma engineering company.

Basic History 2000-Last Thurs - IT Projects Manager
VPN/Intranet/Routers/Infrastructure/New Servers/Security
1997-2000 - MIS Manager
Just about everything /servers/infrasturcture/
96-97- Network Admin
Servers / Desktops

Solid on MS NT4.0/W2K/XP, Netware 3 thru 5, Cisco routers / PIX, Linux, some Web Developing, plus all of the typical stuff...

I will be tweaking my resume this week and I will also begin to study for some more certifications for work I've been doing for a while but now need a slip of paper to show I know it..

If you know of anything or are aware of anything, please let me know...

Thanks,

John
