Default Re: '78 Sceptre 23 -- Complete Restoration

Thanks for the responses and the welcomes. Glad to learn that it is okay to have 6 boats. I will have to admit I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I'm not planning on doing all of the work on the boat myself. Although I have some novice skill at fiberglass work, I'm not going to be able to make the time to tear this girl up and put her back together. I prefer to spend time pissed that someone else is doing it the way I would.

In all seriousness, I'm going to have someone in SC do the work (its not going to be a restoration, more of a renovation / restoration) I'm going to add rod lockers, combing, and do some work with the top.

Any suggestions on folks in the South that are up to this task?
