That sounds like a good deal. The new GP 1650WF (WASS & AR coated screen) are going for ~ $1,150. If the moon, sun and my 1850wf line up, you still can barely see. Slight tilt and its back, under a top would not be an issue. For almost 1/2 the price i would take a "new" older version. Besides i read in the past, that a company(can not remember the name) would AR the screens of the older models to help greatly reduce the glare. Good luck .....
