Bennett makes hydraulic lifts for that application. I would check that out so you dont screw up the back trying to get that thing open... I believe you can even use your existing hydraulic unit (if you have Bennett tabs) to operate this one......naturally you would only have the tabs working while underway and the hatch rams working while at the dock....
