Hammer and Fellow-Ship
Thanks for the info I many need more details on who did your work....I contacted a guy down in Miami and based on the dimensions I sent him he said $250 + $35 to ship it… I was thinking of going clear ... Are you guys happy with the work??

DH
I tried that up here with little luck...maybe I didnt try hard enough....several places specialized in plexi....sorry Lexan and are out of business.....but I will see what I can find out ..... anyone local to you that you would suggest.....I guess the guy in Miami was on target as far as cost considering Hammer got his for about the same…

Scott, I had mine done at ACRYPLEX in Miami they specialize in windshields. I personally prefer the clear,no tint. I have the big console and I had them make it tall were I have to look thru it not over it ,but everyone has their preferences.Reel Smoker.

Fellow-Ship
I just talked with a guy in West Palm Beach that would make it for about $150 (clear 1/4" ). For me it would cost about $75 to get it shipped up here...

Fellow-Ship

No It was some kind of Polycarbonate plexiglass.....He said that the lexan does not bend as well and is more suited for flat panels.....Also said that the lexan would scratch much more easily than the other and that I would not be happy with the result...at least not for this application. He did say that I would be very happy with the other.

At first he wanted me to try to find someone up here to fabricate it....as the shipping cost was high....my problem is I cant find anyone to do it at a reasonable cost.

WEST PALM BEACH PLASTICS I spoke with Mike the owner The number is 888-776-7720

Oh that piece that wraps around the console/ gauges and is about 3" wide that was $95 (due to the length of it)

Tell me if you hear different.
