Default Re: Question for Ole Yeller

My boat is a 2002 model with the 200 Optimax. Best GPS top end I've registered is about 46 MPH (5700 RPM)with a relatively light load. That motor is propped with a 17P 3 blade SS prop.

That's fast enough for me, especially given the sharp deadrise on the hull

Other #'s:
Normally cruise at 30-35 MPH (4000-4400 RPM)depending on seas/chop. At cruise I've been averaging about 3.4 MPG, which I consider very good for a boat that size with a 200HP load on the back.

Hope this helps!
