Hey Briguy,
My scuppers had been glassed over (thru the bottom)and I have been following the various threads about scuppers and have decided to jusat drain into the bilge for now. After constant wet feet in my 20 it is so nice to be dry.
With 100 gals of gas the water line is about 2" up the side at the transom. I can stand on the platform and stay dry but the platform does go down to the water.

Bill was nice enough to take Capt Chuck and I for a ride this past week and I was indeed very impressed. Anyone know of a 23' CC on the market out there that needs a total rehab?! I think I would put the same setup on one that Bill has

Generaider,

Is your boat a gray CSY 23 SC with twin rude 135's? If so my buddy in Port St Lucie FL was checking it out. The boat sounded familuar especially when he said it had a bracket like mine.

Hey Chris,
No mine is currently dark blue with white unfinished filler spots!
I think you will like the ride when you get a chance to work on your boat. I got Don to make up better drawings than what I received and with those was able to install it. We used blocking wood to hold the bracket in place to mark holes and bolt up. The hole shot was great - the boat stayed level and just shot out of the water

The 135 Ficht rudes have plenty of power - at least for me!
How's the house doing?

I'd bet it was your boat. He said it had filler spots and I believe it had your name on it. He probibly got the color wrong (he's old and fat).

I am accually thinking of epoxying the bracket on my closed transom. That way there would be no seems and no place for water seep in between. Then paint it with the boat and it should look like it was molded on original.

Chris,
I took the boat to Hermco to do some warranty work on the bracket for about a week. The people making the bracket tried something different that didn't work. Potter was very quick to step up and fix the problem for me. Don did very nice work.
Are you going to use a single or twin engines?
Bill

One is good, two is better, My wife wants to keep both...go figure!!

Gen, I am going with twin's, more than likely 150"s.

What was the deal with the recall?
