Like Scott said, I used Easypoxy on mine but only on the inside my yellow had been Awlgripped when I found it.The stuff was easy to spray and surprisingly tuff, but it can't compare to a 2 - part.I didn't want to spray the cockpit with a 2 - part because of the health risk, I was told that you need an air-supplied respirator to do this and I didn't want to take the chance in my yard with everyone around.I didn't want to roll and tip the cockpit because of all the angles and nooks and crannies.The stuff has held up well so far, but I'm thinking I might roll and tip just the non-skid inside with a 2-part because it's getting scuffed up, and I think it would look good if I went with a little darker hatteras white.I also sprayed my motor with the Easypoxy and there is not a scratch or ding on it.So, simple answer - it's good stuff but not as good as Awlgrip IMO.If you're gonna roll and tip, go with the 2-part, if you're gonna spray, go with Easypoxy OR have the right respirator.I talked to a lot of people about spraying 2 - parts, one guy at a boat yard in Norwalk told me a guy "lost a lung" spraying that stuff.That was enough for me.
As an aside, if and when I have to paint the outside of the hull, I may go with auto paint.A lot of guys I know have used it with good results, and this spring I painted a car for my kid with ppg omni.It's a one part color, and 2-part clear system that has great gloss, looks like glass.
