Thanks Steve...

1083, eh? I know a crazy man on the Back Beaches that went through a few of those last year... I thought you were talking about the 1205s that had a BIG problem on the cast a few years ago....

1089 - Not fishing congers but decent BLACK eels ... My primary 1089 spot has something on northside that the Cape had plenty of and on the right side something the Cape doesn't: VW sized boulders mixed in with a lot of sharp & pointy of the rocking chair to love seat sized line cutters .

The 1089 is so I can horse them if the go hard right into the riprap or I can play them easy of the head north. 2 years ago I had a fish charge so HARD right deep into the rocks that I was well on my way to being spooled on a Calcutta 400 (best small conventional!!!) when the new 30# Big Game Green came apart on me in the minefield...

Yep, she's a good sled and I know your deal too. My wife had me trade in my dirty, fish smellin' 2 year old 150 OffRoad Supercab because she needed something she (5'2") could put a baby in the back seat with and in preperation of that, I got the Shiny now ten year old SAND SLED and she has the new "Family Friendly" car...
