Default Re: Cabo San Lucas

Jim,

I have had great success with a Japanese lure called "maria". I prefer them in pink and they have been very well received by fish all over the world (just make sure to replace the existing treble with a larger hook - either a single or a much larger treble). Otherwise, the 1oz Spro "swimming jig" works pretty well, as does the humble Sting-Silver.

However, if you are comfortable with a fly rod (8-9wt being ideal), nothing will out-catch a white and chartreuse clouser minnow tied on a 1/0 hook cast from the beach.
