Default Re: 1975 CC 23 ft

Thanks for the responses.........I am going to look at the boat today. A friend of mine that has a Sceptre looked at the boat. Trailer is fine.... engines supposedly are in great shape and have compression of 170 on each. Where we fish from down here we go out regularly 35 to 45 miles offshore. I was thinking that maybe I could find a boat that has had a lot of work done on it for a good price on the internet as compared to doing the work myself... I have seen some deals on the internet that have a lot of work done on them...... I am wondering if they are getting there money back or they are taking somewhat of a loss...That's the dilemma........find one done or buy cheap and make do and fish while you are modifying the boat over a period of years.
