Scott
I have a Multi-Conversion Penn 113H (4/O) It has an Accurate frame, High Speed Handle and Reel Seat Clamp. The spool is a Newell coupled with Newell 4 to 1 gears. I have the Smooth Penn Drag washers. The reel is spooled with 50lb Ande Back Country and topped off with 50 yards of 100lb Power Pro line I strickly use this combo for the deep Jigging & yanking Grouper out of the holes or Snook from under the dock piles ![]() Does all this expense help??? Who knows but I like the "balls" this setup provides vs conventional trolling outfits ![]() ![]() ![]()

No mileage with the conversions but I had five of the ATD's (2 12's, 2 30's, 1 50W) and still have four of the 870's. Probably the best customer service I have come across in a fishing company.

Thanks guys
This all started when I found some old rods I had built (the first one I ever wrapped …its 24 years old!!!) and reels ….I was looking for line capacities online and came across the Accurate Frame and Side Plate conversion kits …I've got the Jigmasters and several 4/0's and 6/0's and thought it would be cool to dress them up a bit ...I'd assume that the raw aluminum (silver version) would wear the best?? I'm thinking the Black, Red and even Gold show scratches and dings more? |
